Courses Offered

Course Offered : Diploma in Pharmacy (D. pharm)

The course of academic Training is of two years during with a minimum 180 working days of 6 hours each, per year followed by a practical training of not less than 500 hours covered in not less than 3 months in any Hospital / Dispensary approved by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. Attendance

The Students have to produce a certificate from the Head of the Institution that he / She has satisfactorily attended the course & has to his /her credit not less than 80% of the attendance separately in Theory & Practical’s of each of the subject.

Eligibility Criteria

Board of examination

The Preliminary Diploma in Pharmacy Exam will be held at the end of the first year of the course. After successful completion of the 80% attendance of the student is admitted to the Examination.

The final year of the diploma in Pharmacy Course, exam will be held at the end of second year. Admission to this annual Exam is subject to successful completion of 80% of Attendance and successful completion of first year qualifying exam.

in addition to the above conditions, admissions to either of the above exams is subject to “Any other rules ft regulations laid down by Board of Examining Authority Time to Time”.

The Institution reserves the Right to cancel any candidates admissions to any of the Exams in case of defaulting candidate. Minimum Qualification for Admission

A pass in any of the following Exams with Physics/ Chemistry, Biology Or physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Intermediate Exam in Science. The First year of the 3years Degree course in science. 10+2 academic stream in Science.

Pre-degree Exam Or Any other-qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above Exams.

Examinations

A student shall not be declared to have passed the above exams unless he/ she secure minimum percentage in each of the subject separately in the theory & practical’s. Candidates securing 60% & 75% or above in any subject or subject shall be declared to have obtained First class distinction respectively Provided the student passed on all the subject in the same examination.

Practical Training

After Completion of the “Diploma in pharmacy” candidates shall be to undergo Practical Training in Institution, Hospital, Pharmacy Or Manufacturing house recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.

The Practical training period shall not be less than 500 hours spread over a period of not less than 3months, provided that not less than 250 hours are devoted to Actual dispensing of prescriptions.

Candidate shall provide all the following ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES With 3 sets XEROX COPIES as mentioned below. 10th Std. 6 10+2 Std. Marks Card Transfer /Migration Certificate. 10 passport size & 10 stamp size color photographs Address proof The Candidate & Parent/Guardian of the candidate should give the declaration as enumerated in the application form. The Candidate shall pay the required fees within the stipulated period.
